Ready to Learn, Back to School Supplies CollectionSummer Bash at Piilani Village Shopping CenterKihei, Maui, July 2, 2012: Piilani Village kicks off Summer Bash with Mayor AlanArakawa to Proclaims July 14th, Collector Car Appreciation Day at the Piilani VillageShopping Center’s Summer Bash event. The Maui Classic Cars group, headed byPatty Ventura will proudly have on display over 50 American Classic Cars. Take acruise down memory lane and come check out these classic beauties! The PiilaniVillage Summer Bash will be held on Saturday, July 14 from 11 to 1 pm with KISS99.9 FM radio personality Dan Rivers as Master of Ceremony. It is a free event andthe community is welcome!Piilani Village merchants also invite the community to donate back to schoolsupplies to children in need through the Queen Liliuokalani Children’s Center(QLCC). These school supplies are distributed throughout Maui Island by the QLCCSocial workers network. Participants will be eligible to enter door prize drawingsthat will take place at noon and at 1:00 pm.Hot Hula Fitness with Keoni Manuel begins the entertainment with a Tahitianversion of the popular Zumba fitness. Manuel, a Zumba teacher and also has aTahitian school, has put his two passions together and created Hot Hula Fitness.A must experience! On Sunday, December 5, from 11 to 4, Maui’s Winery and Ulupalakua Ranch Store invite you to enjoy live music by slack key master Jeff Peterson and top-selling female vocalist Amy Hanaiali‘i—all while browsing an extraordinary selection of unique gifts at special ‘ohana prices! Da Braddahs created a fun Spooktacular event at the Piilani Village Shopping Center. They made us all laugh and kept the audience engaged in games and fun. It was time for us to relax and laugh at ourselves. They are DA BEST!We had a Candy Corn guessing game, where the winner guessed 330 and the actual number of candy corn in the bottle was 336 – unbelievableThe costume contest was creative and the audience selected the best costumes.Our next event at Piilani Village Shopping Center is December 4th. Christmas celebration, free Santa photo for kids, Christmas cookie decorating and much more! Live entertainment to be announced.- Crowds came to play games and enjoy the show!
